FINTEC recruit is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for our Engineering FMCG client based in Inverness-shire. This is a permanent position with salary up to circa £50,000 depending on experience, plus benefits
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a Preventive Maintenance Schedule and technical troubleshooting
- Pro-active maintenance, including predictive and conditioned based tools
- Measurement of performance with feedback to team/individuals
- Development of basic care of machinery for operators and Root cause failure analysis
- Ensure maintenance logs are used consistently and effectively, conduct regular safety meetings, liaising with team members to thorough planning of all work
- Assist with development and management of the team resource planning
- Develop safe systems of work for maintenance tasks
Skills and experience required for the Maintenance Supervisor role
- Engineering apprenticeship or Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Supervisory experience, able to carry out performance feedback. Deliver Team talks etc ; good communication skills
- Experience of maintenance in a production/manufacturing/industrial environment
- Able to demonstrate safety awareness and be aware of environmental/H&S standards
