STEM Recruitment Solutions is delighted to partner with our highly respected, well known Manufacturing client, assisting in the recruitment of a talented and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This critical role involves ensuring the manufacturing facility operates efficiently, helping maintain our client s commitment to excellence in production of their iconic product.
Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical faults quickly and effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to optimise functionality.
- Undertake preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and disruptions.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues early.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Support the site in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and annual goals.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer role or similar position.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (essential).
- Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Mechanical knowledge, with some Electrical expertise (preferred).
- A full UK driving licence or reliable transport to meet shift pattern requirements.
Shift Details
The role follows a rotating shift pattern of days and nights:
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- 4 nights on, 4 nights off
Salary and Benefits
- £44,000 per annum
