Job Description

Due to Company growth we are looking to recruit versatile and experienced mechanical fitters for work based at our facility in Stonehaven, with excellent opportunities also available for offshore, overseas and site work.

The candidates must have completed a relevant mechanical apprenticeship, and ideally come from an agricultural, heavy haulage/plant, marine or energy industry background.

The job will be based in Stonehaven when onshore and would be working in a team within a very well equipped workshop. Work consists of mechanical fitting duties including but not limited to dismantling and rebuilding a variety of mechanical components; completing pressure testing and carrying out maintenance of company plant and vehicles.

When offshore our mechanical fitters install, maintain and repair critical machinery-such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and hydraulic systems-on platforms or vessels.

MJI, SBT and shell and tube heat exchanger experience are preferred but not Offshore experience and in date offshore certificates are preferred.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems
• Understand mechanisms, and be comfortable with hydraulics
• High attention to detail

Excellent working conditions, remuneration package and benefits are available. Salary dependant on experience.
