Overview

Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is seeking a Mechanic to join a public sector client’s Fleet team in the Sighthill area of Edinburgh.

This full time, temporary role offers £18.34 per hour for 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain vehicles to VOSA and manufacturer standards.
• Conduct MOT testing when required.
• Use diagnostic equipment for fault finding and rectification.
• Order parts as needed.
• Support the team to ensure works are carried out.
• Ensure all works are carried out in a cost effective manner.
• Complete both paper and electronic documentation to maintain accurate records.
• Clean and prepare vehicles.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong vehicle maintenance skills.
• Strong team member.

Key Information

Location – Sighthill area of Edinburgh. Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. Pay rate – £18.34 per hour. Duration – temporary, ongoing. Start – ASAP.
