Job Title: M&E Site Supervisor – Substation Project
Location: Glasgow (G81)
Rate: 35.00 per hour (Outside IR35 – Ltd Company or CIS)
Duration: 3 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 45 per week (Mon-Thurs: 10 hrs/day, Fri: 5 hrs – early finish)
Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Site Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project in Central Scotland. This is a key role on a live substation upgrade project involving 275kV systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all mechanical and electrical installation activities on-site
- Liaise with delivery teams, site stakeholders, and contractors
- Ensure HSE compliance and daily site coordination
- Report progress, manage snagging, and ensure work meets specifications
- Supervise direct and subcontract labour
- Assist with day-to-day site logistics and planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience supervising M&E works on live substation or power infrastructure sites
- Strong knowledge of T&D or HV installations
- Ability to coordinate with external site managers while representing a labour-only contractor
