M&E Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E works on a large-scale commercial project. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the M&E package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the main contractor, design team, consultants, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in the successful delivery and handover of the project.
M&E Project Manager Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works on site

Oversee M&E subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards

Manage programme, budgets, variations, and risk for M&E packages

Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and design changes

Attend and lead coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Monitor progress against programme and report to senior project management
-
Manage commissioning, testing, and handover of M&E systems
-
Ensure works comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards
M&E Project Manager Requirements

Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on commercial projects

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex site activities

Excellent understanding of construction programmes and cost control

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
-
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred)
