Maths Teacher

£52.1k Per annum

Join a school that values innovative teaching and student ownership of learning.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Maths Teacher to join our Campus on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who thrives in a progressive educational environment where students are motivated, well-behaved, and actively engaged in their learning journey.

About the School

Located in a modern campus with state-of-the-art facilities and technology-rich classrooms, we are proud of our personalised, student-centred approach. With small class sizes (approximately 52 Primary and 125 Secondary students), we foster a close-knit, supportive learning community where every student is known and nurtured.

Our school culture is built on high expectations, mutual respect, and a commitment to academic, personal, and social development. Our leadership team is highly engaged, and staff are empowered to focus on delivering high-quality learning, free from excessive admin or behaviour management issues.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in shaping learners from S1-S6 (equivalent to KS3-KS5), delivering face-to-face Maths lessons and occasionally supporting students remotely via Zoom. You will be part of a collaborative, passionate team committed to a shared vision for education that prepares students not just for exams, but for life.

This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who is:

  • GTCS registered (or eligible)

  • Experienced in delivering the National Curriculum for Maths

  • Open to using modern teaching methods and digital platforms

  • Passionate about encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning

What You Can Expect

  • Engaged and respectful students – highly motivated with minimal behavioural challenges

  • Cutting-edge technology to enhance both in-person and remote teaching

  • Professional development via our dedicated Teacher Academy

  • Teachers’ Pension Scheme membership

  • Staff referral scheme

  • Excellent work-life balance – no weekend sports or regular out-of-hours activities

  • A values-led culture that promotes wellbeing, self-directed learning, and collaboration
