Overview

Clyde Marine Recruitment is seeking an experienced Captain to join a Class B passenger vessel operating in Dublin. This is a permanent opportunity offering stability, a flexible monthly rota, and accommodation in Dublin for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full command of a Class B passenger vessel operating within Dublin Bay waters.
  • Ensure safe navigation, vessel handling, and compliance with all relevant maritime regulations.
  • Lead and manage the onboard team, maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and passenger service.
  • Oversee daily operations, including voyage planning, reporting, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Maintain strong communication with shore-based management and port authorities.
  • Uphold safety drills, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement of onboard safety culture.
  • STCW Master 500GT Near Coastal Certificate of Competency
  • Proven experience in command roles, ideally within passenger or nearcoastal operations.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • High commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
