About The Role As a Market Service Owner based in our Glasgow office,you’llplay a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across global markets. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strongorganisationalskills, the ability toprioritiseeffectively, and a collaborative attitude.Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader,you’llbe responsible forbuilding andmaintainingstrong, trust-based relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including market contacts, productionsitesand third-party freight service providers. Your role will be central to understanding the unique needs of each market and ensuring these are met through effective planning and communication.You’llhandle the full freight process, selecting the mostappropriate servicesat the best value, while also handling pre-shipment requirements, PO creation, freight quoting, billing, and investigation. A proactive approach to resolving export-related issues and a strong understanding of market-specific products and requirements will be crucial.Operating in a process-driven environment,you’llbring a customer-first approach to service delivery, ensuring that we continue to meethigh standardsof performance and reliability across all ourlogisticsoperations.
