TURNER
As part of our expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Time Served Turner. The selected
candidate will join a team dedicated to manufacturing high-quality components for a range
of industries, including Aerospace, Utilities, and Food and Drink.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Manual Turner
Competence in setting and operating manual machines is essential
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently Producing high quality parts to close tolerances Quality Inspection and documentation of own parts The ability to work as part of a small team using your own initiative
Experience in manual milling or toolmaking is advantageous
Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent Time Served qualification

There are opportunities for professional development, including training in CNC
programming, milling, and grinding. Overtime is compensated at time and a half on
weekdays and at double rate on weekends. Flexible part-time arrangements are available.

The successful candidate will enjoy benefits including
39 hours per week with overtime available
Rate of Pay: 17 – 20 per hour (experience dependant)
Normal Working Hours: 7.30am – 4pm Mon – Thurs & 7.30am – 1pm Friday.
33 days holiday per annum
Signing on Bonus of 1000 – 500 paid after 6 months & 12 months of service.
