Job Overview

Based at our Hamilton gym, A leisure cleaner involves maintaining high hygiene and safety standards across the health club. Gender-specific shift requirements apply because team members must clean inside the respective male locker and shower rooms.

Main Duties & Responsibilities Key Tasks

  • Changing Rooms: Clean and sanitise male locker rooms, showers, vanity areas, and toilets.
  • Gym Floor & Studios: Wipe down and dust fitness equipment, mirrors, floors, and functional training frames.
  • Public Areas: Maintain corridors, stairwells, reception spaces, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Compliance: Follow health and safety (COSHH) guidelines and complete company standard operating procedures.

  • Physical Fitness: Ability to handle active, on-feet tasks and operate commercial cleaning machinery.
