Maintenance Supervisor (Production/Manufacturing/Factory based)
Our client is looking to expand their maintenance team and have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor reporting directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.
Role includes
- Ensuring maintenance employees apply safe working practices.
- Develop safe Systems of Work for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure asset’s are maintained in a safe condition.
- Ensure environmental equipment is properly maintained.
- Conduct regular safety meetings.
- Develop and manage people resource plan.
- Pro active maintenance, including predictive and conditioned based tools.
- Root cause analysis.
- Assess spare parts requirements.
- Control use of contract labour.
- Technical troubleshooting
- Manage maintenance contractor spending for the business area within budget.
Skills/knowledge
- Candidate should demonstrate safety awareness and working knowledge of policy, standards and beliefs, ensuring same is present with colleagues.
- Maintain safe environment.
- Be aware of environmental/H&S issues, and ensuring systems are in place to deal with any issues.
- Preference will be given to mechanical qualifications.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a manufacturing/production experience – preferable factory based.
- Preference will be given to candidates who live around the Inverness area.
Excellent salary is offered to the right candidate. This is a permanent position, interviews are being arranged shortly, hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with the requirement for additional hours worked during maintenance shutdowns as required.
