We re seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join a well-established Housing Association on a temporary basis with the strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
About the Role
As Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day repairs and maintenance across a range of properties. You will work closely with contractors and tenants to ensure our homes remain safe, well-maintained, and meet high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct property inspections and diagnose repairs

Liaise with contractors and monitor quality of works

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Respond promptly to tenant queries regarding repairs

Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
-
Previous experience working in a similar role within a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) or housing association setting

Strong understanding of property maintenance and repair processes

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Access to your own vehicle, with business use insurance

A proactive, solution-focused attitude
