Job Description

Maintenance Engineer, Irvine, Salary £31,000 to £33,000 per annum + Health Cash Plan + Cycle to Work Scheme.

Maintenance Engineer required to join an esteemed manufacturing company based in Irvine, carrying out scheduled maintenance. The Maintenance Engineer must have expertise in either a mechanical trade with strong electrical experience or a strong background in the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret equipment and plant layout drawings.
  • Ensure that plant and equipment are maintained.
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance.
  • Respond to machine and plant equipment breakdowns.
  • Recording any maintenance carried out.

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise in mechanical or electrical trades (hold NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications).
  • 18th Edition Certificate (desirable not essential)
  • Understanding of Health, Safety and Environment Regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings for mechanical and electrical layouts and equipment.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
