Machine Operatives (FMCG)
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operative to join our client’s team in a new state of the art facility located in the Eurocentral area, with an excellent chance to go permanent in due course.
Your Time at Work
- Set and operate a production line, handle raw materials, and work around machinery.
- Work within established targets and deadlines.
- General cleaning and housekeeping of the factory.
- Ensure safety and meet quality standards.
- Assist the engineering team.
- For those with a forklift licence, assist at the end of the production process and move raw materials.
Our Perfect Worker
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
- Physically fit suitable for the nature of the role.
- Comfortable working with and near machinery and operating control panels.
- Reliable and committed to working a rotating shift pattern.
- Own transport may be required due to location and shifts.
Key Information and Benefits
- Rotating shift pattern of 6 a.m.-2 p.m. and 2 p.m.-10 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Immediate start.
- £13.60 per hour for early/back shift.
- £16.96 per hour for night shift hours, if opportunity arises.
- Regular overtime available and paid at 1.5 and 2 rates.
- Full 40 hours paid weekly.
