MACHINE FITTER
Location: Glasgow
UK-wide industrial sites
This is a hands-on mechanical fitting role in heavy industry – not bench work, not light assembly.
You’ll be installing, removing and maintaining industrial machinery across a range of challenging environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Mechanical installation and removal of machinery
- Strip-downs, rebuilds and alignments
- Working alongside rigging and lifting teams
- Supporting shutdowns, projects and relocations
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
What you’ll need:
- Solid mechanical fitting background
- Experience in industrial or heavy environments
- Ability to read drawings and work independently
- Strong work ethic and team mindset
- Willingness to travel and work away
