Overview

At MacGregor Industrial Supplies, we’re looking for a school leaver to join our team as a Trainee Automower Installer / Technician. This role involves real-life problem solving – setting up, programming, and installing robotic mowers to ensure they work perfectly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Set up & install robotic lawn mowers at customer homes.
  • Help design and set up the layout of a real life system.
  • Ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Spot problems and help fix machines.
  • Serve equipment and keep it working properly.
  • Learn how different machines and systems work.
  • Show customers how to use their new equipment.
  • Answer questions and give simple, clear advice.
  • Be friendly, helpful and professional.
  • Travel to different locations; work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Deliver and collect equipment.

Skills or qualifications required

  • Full UK driving licence (or working toward one)
  • National 5 in English and Maths
