Band 7 Practice Educator – North Aberdeenshire

Hours: 21.6 per week (0.6 wte)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate Band 7 Practice Educator to join our friendly and supportive team in North Aberdeenshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered professional who is committed to developing the current and future workforce and who genuinely enjoys helping others achieve their potential.
As a Practice Educator, you will work collaboratively across North Aberdeenshire health and social care partnership settings to support students, new registrants and the wider workforce. You will play a key role in creating positive learning environments, enhancing practice learning experiences, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking someone who:
- Is a nurse or midwife with a current NMC registration
- Holds a post-graduate teaching and learning qualification
- Has extensive experience at Band 6 or above in roles which include supporting, supervising and assessing learners
- Has a genuine passion for supporting learning and professional development.
- Is enthusiastic, innovative and motivated to improve practice.
- Builds positive relationships and works collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues and partners.
- Can inspire, coach and support others to develop confidence and competence.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
- Is committed to continuous improvement, quality and person-centred practice.
