Job Description

Kenect are currently looking for a tempoary logistics coordinator for a national builidng product company. The role is to help coordinating and managing daily delivery schedules. While also acting as the key link between the sales team, warehouse atff, drivers and customers. Previous experince with in logistics preffered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules to maximise efficiency while meeting customer requirements.
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure delivery commitments are realistic and achievable.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to prioritise workloads and ensure vehicles are loaded on time.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, delays and any changes to schedules.
  • Resolve day-to-day logistical issues quickly and effectively while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Re-plan routes and delivery schedules when priorities change or unexpected issues arise.
  • Monitor outstanding deliveries and ensure customers and colleagues are kept informed.
  • Build strong working relationships across the branch to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
