Locum GP for Maternity Leave – Vision Practice Edinburgh

Job Description

NHS Scotland Urban Practice in South West Edinburgh is seeking a locum GP to cover maternity leave from September 2026 for 4.5 sessions weekly over seven months. Sessions are on alternate Wednesday PM, all day Thursday and all day Friday. Duty doctor commitments on Wednesday PM and Thursday PM.

The practice serves about 5,700 patients in a modern building with bright consulting rooms, parking, and proximity to Tesco. Home visits are shared; there are ANP and senior practice pharmacist support.
