Position Details

Location: Malmaison Glasgow

Hourly Rate: 13.01 GBP per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift times: Usually 9am/10am to 3pm

About the Role

Working as part of the Housekeeping team, the Linen Porter ensures all linen is moved around the hotel efficiently, supporting Room Attendants in performing their duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Move linen efficiently across the hotel to support Room Attendants.
• Interact with guests and use conversational English to communicate effectively.
• Work independently and manage tasks during shift hours.
• Maintain a fitness level suitable for the physical demands of the role.
• Use chemicals and equipment safely after receiving full training.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and genuine desire to make a difference in the hotel.
• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.

Work Hours and Flexibility

Set shifts, usually between 9am and 3pm, five days out of seven, with flexible start times between 9am and 10am. Earlier start times and flexible contracts, including weekend work, can be discussed at interview.
