Library Delivery DriverLocation: Edinburgh Central LibraryRate of Pay: £14.51 per hourStart Date: April 2026Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 4:00pm (includes 60-minute unpaid break)Duration: Temporary Ongoing We are looking for a reliable and organised individuals to support our library distribution service. This role involves transporting books and materials across libraries in Edinburgh.Key Responsibilities
- Loading the van each morning with books and materials for delivery
- Follow a pre-planned route to visit multiple library locations
- Deliver boxes of books to libraries and collect returns
- Work collaboratively in a two-person team, taking turns driving while the other manages deliveries and collections
Requirements
- Category B driving licence
- Confident driving a Transit or Luton van
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Ability to carry and move heavy loads
