LGV Class 2 Drivers Required – Backshift

Here at Global Logistics Staff Ltd, we pride ourselves on providing the very best service to our clients and we seek to recruit experienced LGV Class 2 backshift drivers to support our clients business needs.We are currently recruiting additional drivers for ongoing contracts.

Job Role Information:

Position:LGV Class 2 Drivers

Start Times : Around 1200pm Noon

Location:Cambuslang, Glasgow

Duration:Temporary

Pay Rate:£16.83 per hour, £25.25 per hour overtime

Pay Model:PAYE

This is an exciting ongoing contract role, delivering beers, wines and spirits, and becoming an integral member of the team.

Duties :

Delivery of beers, wines & spirits to the hospitality sector across central belt, Scotland.

Accompanied with a drivers mate, you need to be able to work well with others

Complete daily pre and post vehicle checks

Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing clients expectations

Comply with WTD, drivers hours & rest periods

Experience :

Previous experience of handling kegs/delivery of alcohol to hospitality venues would be an advantage

Class 2 licence (minimum 6 months experience)

Must have a valid digital tachograph card & CPC qualification card

Have no more than 6 penalty points on licence

No DDs or DRs on licence

Must have excellent communication skills

All applicants will be subject to passing a driving assessment. You will also undergo a full site induction.
