Location: Glasgow
Salary range: 27,000 – 30,000 DOE
Full-Time Permanent
A well-established Scottish law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Commercial Property team in Glasgow.
The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to a Solicitor handling a broad range of commercial property matters. This opportunity would suit an experienced legal secretary with a strong understanding of Scottish property transactions and previous exposure to commercial property work.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive secretarial support to a Property Solicitor.
- Assisting with commercial property transactions from inception through to completion.
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence.
- Managing diaries, appointments and client communications.
- Maintaining accurate records using legal case management systems.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors and third parties throughout transactions.
- General administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Scottish legal environment.
- Essential experience supporting commercial property transactions.
- Strong knowledge of the Scottish conveyancing and property process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using legal case management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client service abilities.
