Job Description

LCI and Completion Lead for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Scotland

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the LCI strategy and execution plan aligned with project milestones.
  • Develop and implement LCI procedure for the project.
  • Coordinate with engineering and document control to ensure proper tagging, metadata, and structure of LCI deliverables from the contractors.
  • Manage the preparation and execution of LCI handover to operations, ensuring completeness and validation of all required documentation.
  • Completion Management.
  • Development and execution of Mechanical Completion within the Completion
  • Management System (CMS) in collaboration with commissioning and quality.
  • Define system boundaries and ensure proper tagging and systemisation of equipment and documentation.
  • Monitoring fabrication and manufacturing inspections, FATs and final inspections to ensure alignment with project milestones and quality expectations.
  • Monitoring of Mechanical Completion (MC), and the Commissioning function, PreCommissioning, and Commissioning activities to ensure alignment with project milestones and quality expectations.
  • Approve handover packages and confirm readiness for operations/start-up in collaboration with internal stakeholders and contractor teams.
  • Data & Document Management
  • Act as the primary interface for LCI and completion-related matters across engineering supply chain, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Interface with engineering, quality, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow and documentation integrity.
  • Support integration with asset management systems or digital twin platforms where applicable.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance.
  • Ensure all LCI deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Support audits and conduct regular reviews to verify data integrity and completeness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in project completion and LCI management within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards for LCI
  • Familiarity with interface coordination and document control systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • BSc/MSc or other relevant degree. Experience may substitute for formal education
  • Document control platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Omega365 or similar)
  • Lifecycle information systems and databases
  • Audit and compliance tracking tools
  • Completions Management system
