Job Responsibilities
- Sorting laundry items efficiently and accurately
- Operating laundry machines and equipment safely and correctly
- Ironing and pressing garments to a high standard
- Folding and packing laundry items neatly for delivery or storage
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting team members as required to ensure smooth workflow
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late mornings, and Saturdays
- No formal qualifications required, but previous experience in laundry or similar environments is advantageous
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
