Landscape Architect

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £34 – £38K DOE

Our client, an award winning, design led landscape architecture practice based in Edinburgh, is looking for a Landscape Architect with around 3 to 5 years’ experience to join its growing team. The studio works across a wide range of projects throughout Scotland and the UK including public realm, green and blue infrastructure, residential developments, education, historic landscapes, masterplanning and landscape assessment work. The practice is well known for delivering thoughtful, contextual and highly detailed landscape projects that respond carefully to place, people and the wider environment.

This is a really good opportunity for someone who enjoys strong design work but also wants exposure to projects across multiple stages, from early concepts through to technical delivery and construction. The successful candidate will be joining a close knit and collaborative studio environment based in Edinburgh’s New Town, with flexible working patterns available.

Requirements

  • Degree in landscape architecture
  • Around 3 to 5 years’ professional experience within landscape architecture
  • Confident working on design and technical packages
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
  • Comfortable speaking with clients and consultants
  • Strong graphic, written and technical skills
  • Experience producing planning, tender and construction information
  • An eye for detail
  • Experience with Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite, with BIM knowledge beneficial but not essential
