Job Summary

The EDM group have an exciting opportunity for a a reliable, hardworking labourer in the centre of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Perform general site maintenance and clean-up duties to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain workplace safety standards.
• Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Skills

• Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous but not essential.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.

• An In date CSCS card is essential for this position

Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: 16.50 per hour
