Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Service Manager within Community Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Substances Misuse Services within Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership. This is an interesting and diverse service and the successful candidate will work closely with the Service Manager to provide a varied support role for the service in relation to corporate governance, clinical governance, service development, project work, operational tasks and leadership for admin & clerical staff, including line management of the Support Management Team.
Candidates should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience. Management experience of staff would be essential. Excellent communication skills, health & safety knowledge project management experience, data analysis and attention to detail are all essential for this post. Use of NHS systems including Datix, SSTS, Boxi, TrakCare and Illuminate would also be desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Proven experience of organising/planning workload, self-motivation in the production and delivery of reports and ability to take own initiative and prioritising tasks are required for this post.
This post is predominantly based within Royal Cornhill Hospital, though will involve working at other service sites within Aberdeen City.
