About the Role
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 11:30am 7.30pm and Friday 7.30am 2.30pm. Additional Weekend Overtime at Premium Rate available.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising all preparation and storage areas, kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens, and grills.
- Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment and ensuring all cookware, utensils, and cutlery are clean and ready for service.
- Receiving, unpacking deliveries and checking delivery against orders, highlighting any discrepancies to site manager.
- Ensuring the food and supply storage areas are organised.
- Removing rubbish and emptying bins, waste, and recycling in the kitchen.
- Assisting with food preparation when needed.
What Are We Looking For?
- Commercial kitchen experience is highly valued but not essential.
- Possession of a basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling, or equivalent; can be provided if not held.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods due to the physical nature of the job.
Ideal Candidate Criteria
- Right to Work in the UK.
- City & Guilds certification, BTEC, or NVQ at a basic level required.
- Completion of food hygiene course at Level 2 desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills essential.
- Good time management and organisational abilities.
