Location: East Kilbride
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Joiner on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Joiner:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit wood, laminate, and other materials.
- Install doors, windows, staircases, skirting boards, cabinets, and partitions.
- Build and assemble temporary structures such as scaffolding and site hoardings.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure work is completed to specification and complies with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with site clean-up and material handling as required.
Skills and Qualifications for the Joiner:
- Proven experience as a joiner or similar role in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and joinery practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid CSCS card.
