Role Overview:

To carry out joinery work on social housing contracts for central heating upgrades, solar PV installs as well as battery storage installs, on a long-term contract, to ensure that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • To undertake joinery work on central heating installation and electrical installation sites.
  • To undertake all joinery tasks necessary in the installation of central heating, solar PV and battery storage installs.
  • To carry out works in conjunction with central heating installs. Remove and refit kitchen units, lift and relay floorboards, boiler and rad pads, pipe boxing as well as building and framing cupboards for hot water cylinders.
  • Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation.
  • To always act as a representative of the Company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied.

Skills & experience:

  • Industry knowledge
  • Able to communicate effectively with key people.
  • Essential time management skills.
  • Able to assess own performance and follow training direction.
  • UK driving license.
  • Sufficiently mobile and flexible towards hours and place of work.
  • Clear focus of quality of service
  • Qualifications:
  • City and Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent.

  • Salary 16.00 to 18.00 per hour.
