Job Description

  • Work collaboratively within our cross-functional teams to deliver high quality, maintainable software solutions
  • Proactively build your technical skills and support colleagues in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes
  • Apply standards, policies, and best practices to work effectively both independently and with stakeholders.
  • Uphold quality by delivering high-standard work and supporting others to produce maintainable, compliant software.
  • Assist in resolving technical challenges and blockers to minimise delivery impact.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences to share ideas, provide updates, influence, and incorporate feedback.

Requirements

  • Strong Java experience, ideally across Unix/Linux, enterprise stacks (e.g. JMS, Tomcat), Spring, Hibernate, and SQL
  • Detail-oriented with strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and deliver innovative solutions
  • Curious, continuous learner who quickly grasps new concepts
  • Collaborates with senior engineers to deliver software changes
  • Strong communicator who builds relationships and shares ideas effectively
  • Resilient, with a strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities

Core Competencies

Demonstrates strong Java expertise, particularly in Unix/Linux environments, and applies best practices in software development. Capable of effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while delivering high-quality, maintainable software solutions.
