Job Description

Job Title: IT Systems Engineer
Salary: £25,000 – £31,500 (DOE)
Location: Dumfries
Hours: Full Time, Permanent

We re seeking an ambitious and innovative IT Systems Engineer to join our client s dynamic team in Dumfries. In this full-time role, you ll be at the forefront of implementing the SAP S/4 Hana ERP system across the region, ensuring seamless integration and providing ongoing support for our critical shop floor systems.

Reporting directly to the IT Systems & Services Program Manager, you ll take a proactive, hands-on role in maintaining and optimizing the core hardware and software that drive our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support a variety of Manufacturing IT and OT hardware and software applications.
  • Ensure seamless operation of applications including MES, QMS, CMMS, SCADA, among others.
  • Oversee and assist with technology stacks including Wonderware/Aveva Intouch/Historian, Microsoft as well as SAP Manufacturing, SAP PM, SAP QM.
  • Provide support for the SAP S/4 Hana project team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Recent graduates with relevant degrees or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing IT/OT support setting.
  • A solid foundation in industrial/manufacturing systems, especially Wonderware/Aveva and Microsoft technologies including SQL Databases
  • Keen understanding of IT/OT Manufacturing applications, including SAP Manufacturing systems.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes.
