Job Description Summary

Investment Proposition Manager (Permanent) – Edinburgh. Salary: £64,400 – £96,600. Minimum office attendance: 40% hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new investment initiatives from concept through to delivery, ensuring strong commercial outcomes.
  • Take ownership of existing propositions, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance performance, improve customer outcomes and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Drive proposition strategy, bringing a forward thinking perspective to shape and influence long term direction.
  • Develop high quality business cases and proposals, underpinned by robust customer, adviser and distributor insights.
  • Deliver insightful market and competitor analysis, clearly articulating implications and opportunities for the business.
  • Own governance requirements, including Board and Committee materials, ensuring clear, compelling and well structured outputs.
  • Chair and manage internal forums and committees relevant to proposition development and oversight.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions, influencing and aligning on priorities, delivery approaches and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading the development and ongoing management of investment propositions.
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of investment solutions and product structures.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives and projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of customer and adviser needs, with the ability to translate these into compelling solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Ability to operate at both a hands on delivery level and a strategic, forward looking level.
