For their electro optical sensors group in Edinburgh, they seek an IC Validation Engineer with expertise in either Mixed Signal IP Validation or Top Level System Validation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute validation plans for IP blocks and subsystems
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure successful IP validation
- Carry out testing, simulation, and analysis to verify functionality and performance
- Debug design and performance issues and communicate findings to the design team
- Develop automation tools and scripts to improve validation efficiency
- Support successful tape out of analog IP blocks
Qualifications
- BSc / MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Several years of industry experience in mixed signal IP validation
- Strong understanding of circuit design and validation methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of laboratory instruments and equipmentExperience with industry standard simulation tools (LTspice, eDesignSuite)
- Proficiency in Python and Perl for automation and scripting tasks
