HV Cable Jointer (11kv)

£450 £500 per day (DOE) All expenses covered
Start date: Thursday 21 August 2025
NEOS Engineering are partnered with a specialist provider of cable jointing and high-voltage
contracting services, who are currently looking for a HV Cable Jointer (11kV) to support a short-term
project kicking off mid-August.
This is a 2 to 2.5-week contract, starting Thursday 21August 2025, and is an ideal opportunity for an
experienced jointer who s confident working with PILC (Paper Insulated Lead Cables) and Tyco
Raychem kits.

• £450 per day (rising to £500 depending on experience)
• All accommodation, meals, travel, and hotel (in Aberdeen the night before mobilisation) paid

What you ll be doing:
• Delivering high-quality HV jointing work on 11kV systems
• Working on PILC terminations and joints, cast resin joints, heatshrink applications
• Using Tyco Raychem kits to complete jointing to required standards
• Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety requirements and client specs
What you ll need:
• Proven background in HV cable jointing ideally with 11kV experience
• Confident working with PILC and cast resin joints
• Previous use of Tyco Raychem kits (essential)
• A valid Basic Scottish Disclosure or Full English Disclosure dated within 1 year (essential)
• Must be able to work under pressure and deliver quality work within tight timescales
