Your duties and responsibilities will be

  • Support current operations and development projects related to nuclear infrastructure.
  • Authoring and assessing design substantiation documents, managing safety case changes, producing inspection and maintenance schedules, and providing technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in detailed technical reviews, develop safety cases, and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety and operational standards.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

  • Proven electrical engineering expertise with a focus on HV electrical supply systems, cabling, and substations.
  • Extensive knowledge of current UK/EU design standards and safety practices.
  • Expert understanding of concept design, detailed design, and construction phases across industrial and maritime projects.
  • Experience in technical assessment and authoring safety case documentation within high hazard environments.
  • Practical skills in applying theoretical engineering methods to complex safety critical systems.
