Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed term for 9 months

Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 4:45pm, Friday 8:45am – 4:15pm

Salary: £33,468 – £34,399 per year

Role Overview

An experienced professional will join the Clydesdale Team within Housing Services. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of housing services to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing services related to homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and anti social behaviour
• Apply current legislation and best practice when managing housing issues
• Use excellent IT skills to organise and prioritise workload, respond and adapt to changing priorities
• Communicate effectively with customers and liaise with a range of agencies
• Meet the five specific behaviours framework: Efficient, Flexible, Leading, Working with Others, Performing

Qualifications

• Experience working within a housing related environment
• Knowledge of homelessness legislation, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and anti social behaviour
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
• Proficiency in IT systems required for the role
