Job Description
Contract Scotland are working with a busy specialist sub-contractor, based in Livingston, to source an experienced HSEQ Advisor. As a leader in their industry, they prioritise health, safety, environmental, and quality standards to ensure the well-being of their team and the successful completion of every project.
Recently accredited with ISO 9001, and with drive to achieve 14001 and 45001, they are keen to further embed best practices into every corner of their operation. This is a new role within the business, offering the opportunity to shape, and continue to progress, their HSEQ strategy.
As HSEQ Advisor, you will:
– Lead the development and implementation of processes to achieve and maintain ISO certifications.
– Inspire employees and contractors by promoting a strong culture of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
– Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks, collaborating with Site and Contracts Managers to uphold standards.
– Log data, investigate incidents, and provide monthly reports to support continuous improvement.
– Deliver HSEQ guidance during tenders, help implement occupational health initiatives, and liaise with client safety representatives.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
– NEBOSH Qualification (minimum Level 3)
– Experience in a construction related field.
– A working understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
– An analytical mindset with a focus on practical solutions.
– Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
