Are you from a housing, property maintenance, compliance, or planned works background and looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference?

We’re currently working with a well-respected Registered Social Landlord to recruit a Housing Services Officer to join their team in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied and meaningful role where you’ll support the delivery of a high-quality housing and property service, helping to ensure homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained for tenants across the portfolio.

The Role

This is a broad and hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of:

  • Property maintenance coordination
  • Compliance and safety projects
  • Planned works support
  • Tenant communication
  • Contractor and invoice management
  • Asset and data administration

You’ll work closely with the wider maintenance and housing team to help deliver an efficient, tenant-focused service while supporting key property and compliance programmes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating compliance and tenant safety projects
  • Supporting the rollout of planned maintenance programmes
  • Reviewing surveys including asbestos, water safety, and asset data
  • Carrying out void inspections and preparing basic work instructions
  • Issuing repairs and servicing orders
  • Managing communication with tenants, support staff, and contractors
  • Monitoring contractor performance and service delivery
  • Producing reports and maintaining accurate property records
  • Processing invoices and ensuring value for money on response repairs

What We’re Looking For

  • Facilities / compliance

  • Planned works / asset management

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Good knowledge of property maintenance and compliance
  • Confidence dealing with contractors, tenants, and internal teams
  • Strong written communication and administration skills
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Good attention to detail when handling reports, surveys, and financial information
