Hire Controller – Plant Operations
Location: Glasgow
Salary: 30,000 per year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a proactive Hire Controller to join their Plant Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for customer service to take ownership of the end-to-end hire process, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle all customer enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing timely solutions and support.

Coordinate hire bookings, including contracts, delivery, and collection documentation.

Maintain accurate records of hire activity in CRM and hire management systems.

Support the depot workshop team with administrative tasks and operational processes.

Assist with sales growth by converting enquiries into hires and maintaining client relationships.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and GDPR requirements.
Requirements:

Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Experience with CRM systems or hire management software is an advantage.
