HGV Class 2 Driver, Paisley, 42,491 p/a increasing to 43,129 p/a
As a HGV Class 2 Driver you will be tasked with:
- Delivering frozen, ambient & chilled foods as well as catering supplies to customers including schools, restaurants, care homes and hospitals
- Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure vehicles maintained at required H&S standards
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Manual handling – handballing goods from vehicle to pallet or cages
- Picking goods – picking and packing goods on vehicle at customer locations
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Communicating with effectively with customers, team members and depot management
- Completion of relevant paperwork and documentation

- A permanent position with a highly competitive salary of 42,491 increasing to 43,129 by October 2025
- Opportunity to work regular overtime at great rates
- 5 day from 7 shift pattern with most days being worked Monday to Friday
- Day shift only – early starts but early finishes too! Start times from 4.30am

What we’re looking for:
- A solid work history and a can-do enthusiastic approach to work
- Experience of multi drop delivery for a customer focussed business
- A minimum of 1-year practical driving experience
- A full UK driving licence with C entitlement
- CPC qualification – full and up to date
- Digital tachograph
- A maximum of 6 penalty points
- A degree of physical fitness as manual handling a consistent requirement of the role
