HGV Class 2 Drivers

Livingston, West Lothian

07:00 – 09:00 Start Times

13.65 per hour

The role:

24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for Class 2 Drivers in the Livingston, West Lothian area, for client that we are representing. This will be shuttling goods back and forth depot to depot

This is an ongoing position.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience driving a Class 2
  • Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
  • No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an HGV 2 delivery vehicle
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Skills:

  • Valid driver’s license with appropriate category for operating a Class 2 vehicle.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving an HGV vehicle.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
