Job Description

We are looking for an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver
Location: Caerphilly
Immediate start
Permanent Role – to £38,427 plus bonus – average 45hr week, 1-2 nights out per week
Shift: 0600 starts Monday to Friday, 1-2 nights away per week.
JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our clients team based in Caerphilly.
The role:
As an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, your role will be deliveries and collections (max 4 per day) of sealed containers. This will involve some load interaction.
You will be allocated a truck which will rarely be used by anyone else unless you have a long term holiday.
Your key responsibilities will be:-

  • Driving and operating an HGV Class 1 lorry in line with safety standards following ADR training
  • Carrying out site collections and deliveries around the UK
  • Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

About you:
As an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • Min experience 12 months preferred
  • Happy to night away 1-2 nights per week
  • Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
  • Valid ADR
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service
