Job Description
Our client one of the largest road maintenance companies across Scotland are looking for additional Frontline Operatives based in Inverary.
This role will have a 3 weekly shift pattern outlined below:
Week 1 – Dayshift working between the hours of (Apply online only) standby will also be required out with these times which will include weekends
Week 2 – Nightshift working between the hours of (Apply online only) Monday to Thursday with a stand by requirement on Friday Saturday & Sunday
Week 3 – Day Shift (spare) normal working hours of (Apply online only) with no standby requirements
This will then go back to Week 1.
Frontline Operatives is a dual role of some of the following duties:
- General road maintenance (pot hole filling etc)
- Gully cleaning
- Gritting Roads
The main aim of this role is to ensure that all routes are a safe as possible throughout our Scottish Winters.
Previous experience welcomed however full training given.
Drivers must have:
- Cat C Licence
- Drivers CPC
- Digital Tacho Card
Pay Structure:
- Dayshift 12.75 per hour for 40 hours per week 19.13 paid for overtime
- Nightshift 16.58 per hour for 40 hours per week 22.95 per hour
- Monday to Friday Stand By 11.20 per day
- Saturday 32.78
- Sunday 32.78
- Enhanced rates for Public Holidays, Christmas and New Yea
Inductions and training for this role will start immediately and this role is due to run until end of April 2025.
