Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to work with our customer based in Coupar Angus. This is a temp to perm position, where after 12 weeks, you’ll transfer over to our client’s permanent payroll.
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, your duties will include:
- Transporting livestock from farm to factory
- Completing defect reports
- Weighing trailers accurately
- Driving in accordance with Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations
In return, the Class 1 HGV Driver can expect:
- Competitive hourly rate of 15.39 per hour
- Holiday pay accrued in addition to the above rate
- Full time hours
- Monday to Sunday operation
- Various shift start times
- Alternating shift pattern (Sunday to Thursday and then Monday to Friday)
Class 1 HGV Driver Requirements:
- Category CE entitlement on your UK driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Minimum of 2 years Class 1 HGV driving experience
The successful Class 1 HGV Driver will be required to go through animal welfare training – this is provided and paid for by our client.
