Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Plant Engineer

Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum ($34 – $38 per hour)

The Role:
- Undertake preventative maintenance, servicing, and inspections on heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical faults.
- Carry out breakdown repairs both in the workshop and at customer sites.
- Complete service documentation and inspection reports.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Plant Engineer, Diesel Mechanic, or similar.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience working on construction equipment, earthmoving machinery, cranes, generators, or related plant equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
