Description & Requirements

We’re looking for registered healthcare professionals to join our team as Medical Assessors. Whether you’re seeking a full time role, part time opportunity, or an alternative career path, we offer flexible working options that support a healthier work-life balance.

Join us as a Medical Assessor and explore a new career pathway where you can apply your clinical expertise in a meaningful way. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support to develop your assessment skills while helping people move forward with their lives.

About the role

As a Medical Assessor, you’ll carry out thorough assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll produce clear, factual reports to support benefit entitlement decisions across a range of services, including:

  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Work Capability Assessments (WCA)
  • Industrial Injuries Benefit (IIB)
  • Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS)

Every assessment is different. You may work with individuals who have complex physical or mental health conditions, neurological disorders, respiratory diseases, industrial injuries, or vaccine related cases. You’ll be given sufficient time and support to complete high quality, respectful assessments focused on the individual.

What we’re looking for

  • A registered healthcare professional with post registration clinical experience in the UK
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate, detailed reports
  • Confidence using computer systems and digital tools
  • A professional and empathetic approach, with the ability to assess a wide range of conditions, including complex and mental health cases
  • A proactive learner who is open to developing new skills outside of traditional clinical environments

What we offer

  • Competitive salary of £72,000
  • Flexible working patterns, including hybrid working
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development
  • A supportive structure with clinical leadership and peer support
  • A rewarding, non frontline role that enables continued impact on people’s life
