Healthcare Assistant – Theatre (Glasgow Hospital)
Location: Glasgow Hospital – West End, Glasgow
Shift type: Bank – Ad hoc (no set weekly hours, flexible work as required by the business and your availability).
Pay: £13.10 per hour.

As a Healthcare Assistant in theatre you will support the clinical team across a range of operating theatres, assisting with patient care, theatre preparation and administrative tasks in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.
- Care for patients as individuals, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Support the theatre team by assisting with moving patients, preparing operating rooms, and reassuring families.
- Carry out administration duties and help maintain a smooth workflow in the theatre.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the team and the hospital.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in an acute hospital or a similar care setting.
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, team first attitude.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and to work new shifts as required.
